Villa Sankara is an exclusive five bedroom beachfront villa conveniently occupying 2 500m2 of land plus 500m2 private beach.
The villa has been designed for comfort with an architecture combining both Balinese and colonial style. The thatched roof, the traditional gates, the stone materials deeply express the Balinese side as well as the wood columns, the large balcony with ceiling fans, decorations and furnishings influence the spacious colonial living. With five different bedrooms arranged in three different buildings, with a combination of open space living and dining, library and a closed media room, a magnificent 100m2 salt water private swimming pool, two jacuzzi's which are well positioned in the garden, Villa Sankara perfectly positioned by the ocean is made strictly made for its guests to relax and enjoy.
Each part of the villa has been carefully designed and completed with a handpicked selection of furnishings and artwork. Additional facilites available include wireless internet access, telephone, satellite television, BOSE indoor and outdoor sound system, a modern styled fully equipped kitchen and the dedicated full time service staff who are there to ensure your stay at Villa Sankara is memorable.
At your service, a full time site manager who supervisers twelve trained staff including housekeepers, cook, gardeners, maintenance and 24 hour security.
Villa Sankara - Accommodation
The Two Bedroom Suite is a stand alone villa with its private entrance, featuring an enclosed area of about 200sqm and where a courtyard gives access to both bedrooms.
The master bedroom folding window panes open onto a terrace. The room is air-conditioned and offers a king size bed with a mosquito net.
A traditional Balinese door gives way to a 25 sqm bathroom that is like a sumptuous boudoir, it is decorated as if a living space : terrazzo basins in the shape of a bowl are mounted on colonial style tables, there is a beautiful armchair and a floor lamp. Curtains lengths provide a cosy atmosphere and the surrounding gardens are fitted with a natural style outdoor shower. The walk-in dressing room is very spacious.
The whole villa has floors made in this beautiful brown colour terrazzo reminiscent of the beach sand colour. Ceiling fans are provided in every room.
The second bedroom shares the same bathroom through its own walk-in dressing room, it is air-conditioned and is fitted with twin beds that can be pushed together for king size sleeping if required. It enjoys its own lovely private garden too.
The Jacuzzi suite is a stand alone villa of more than 100 sqm of private area and offers an opulent Balinese inspired setting.
The villa offers an amazing all terrazzo bathroom with its spacious walk in dressing room for two, the lush private garden reflecting in the mirrored wall backdrop. An outdoor rain shower makes for a delightful tropical experience, whilst a water fountain drips along a lava stone wall amidst the most luxuriant garden.
Step out of the bedroom directly into your 2 x 2.5m hot jacuzzi plunge pool, or simply relax onto your outdoor sofa right beside it.
A relaxed ambiance resonates through the all palimanan courtyard.
The bedroom is fitted with a king size bed with a mosquito net, and air conditioning as well as ceiling fan ventilation is provided throughout the villa.
The East Ocean Suite, 65m2, is located at the upper level in the main building of the house. It is reached by a beautiful staircase made of wood and cement. An oversized black and white photograph of Gothard Schuh features against a very soothing blue tonality.
At the left of the landing, the bedroom is air-conditioned and has a ceiling fan. A netted king size bed resides facing the ocean. A spacious balcony with comfortable plantation chairs allow to enjoy the ocean view.
The bathroom and dressing room are air conditioned. Both the bathtub and the shower are located on a lovely open air area, the bathtub is very generous while the rain drop shower is a delight in the warm ocean breeze
An open mezzanine stands between the East and West Ocean Suites. A traditional Balinese door takes you to your 125 sqm sanctuary.
Fitted with air conditioning and ceiling fans, the bedroom offers the same large balcony and another runs along the west side all the way to the bathroom.
A mosquito net floats above the bed, allowing for open air nights. Awaken in your king size bed to endless vistas of the ocean, in fact the ocean breeze is so pleasant very often you will not need the air conditioning and you will be tempted to leave the windows open to the sound of the waves.
The bathroom features brown terrazzo and feels like a boudoir. A comfortable bench adjoins the bath. Free standing basins overlook the private open air balcony through a glass partition.The two round mirrors seem to be floating in the air above the basins and beautifully printed glass doors lead to the outdoor rain shower on the balcony.
